Prysm Prater "Waiting for beacon node to sync to latest chain head"

Hi All,

I am encountering an issue where my prysm-prater node isn’t syncing with an already fully-synced goerli-geth node. The prysm-prater node is repeatedly parsing:

“level=info msg=“Waiting for beacon node to sync to latest chain head” prefix=validator”

Here are some screen shots:

Any help would be appreciated. I tried reinstalling prysm-prater to no avail. This error message keeps popping up.

I am also having this issue on prysm 3.0.5 (v3.2.0 upstream) with geth 0.1.37 (upstream 1.10.16) and web3signer 0.1.5 (22.8.1 upstream)

Cpu usage is at 100% on my intel i5 and i am never catching up to the blocks (geth is synced but prysm is at 5727392/5727673)

Hi,

It Seems like I have the same issue, I think.
this is the message I see in the log:

“time="2023-03-06 23:06:42" level=info msg=“Waiting for beacon node to sync to latest chain head” prefix=validator”

prysm 3.0.5 (v3.2.0 upstream), 0.1.38 (v1.11.1 upstream)
Network Ports are “OK”. (I’ve Opened Port Forwarding)

in the Web3Signer - 0.1.6 (23.2.0 upstream) - Logs I see an Info Line:
[ INFO ] beacon node is syncing, prysm.dnp.dappnode.eth API is not available, skipping public key comparison

and prysm is stuck at: 5928160

Please Help :slight_smile:

Two suggestions:

  1. Visit the “Stakers” page and make sure you have selected all the needed options.
  2. Reboot the dappnode
