I’m planning to move my DAppnode to a different location. Is there anything else to consider besides opening the correct ports on the router in the new location?
Solution:
You will only have to open TCP port 8092 and UDP port 1194 is only necessary to fetch the dappnode_connect VPN config file. If you already have it, you don’t need to open those ports. And if you don’t anticipate needing to download it again you don’t need to open those ports and it is theoretically safer because the file would only be available to someone with physical access to unblock the ports or enable the DAppnode wifi.
In summary, just plug the DAppnode into the router at the new location and wait for the uPnP to populate automatically.
