It’s a problem with the remote Ethereum endpoint we are hosting. If you don’t want to depend of our Ethereum endpoint, you can install a Ethereum node on your dappnode, don’ care if you use a light-client or a full-node. When you have your own Ethereum, don’t depend from others.

I have a fully-synced Geth node and I’m still seeing similar error.
ipfs version 0.7.0
Found IPFS fs-repo at /data/ipfs
Error: failed to parse multiaddr "": empty multiaddr
Only solution I found was to remove the IPFS package volumes
